Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution
Mediation/Alternative Dispute Resolution provides an opportunity for parties to resolve issues without undertaking the risk and expense of trial. Mediation is a process in which parties to a dispute, whether it be prior or during litigation, meet with each other and with a mediator. A mediator is a neutral party trained to assist parties in negotiating a settlement of their case. Mediation is required for all cases filed in Greenville County Circuit Court and for all cases filed in the United States District Court for South Carolina.
John Duggan has been trained and certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court as a mediator in all types of civil cases.
